TLC Solutions begins every project with a free, no-obligation, in-home consultation. During this session, we carefully assess your individual needs in order to gain an understanding of your situation and what you’d like to accomplish.

Plan:

Once TLC Solutions services are secured, we develop a written plan specific to your circumstances. This plan includes scheduling the various services that your project requires. Also included in this plan is a functional design draft. This draft takes into consideration your furniture and space measurements, as well as, the placement of your furnishings and belongings into that new environment. Photographs of specific arrangements provide us with concrete directions for replicating your preferences.

Downsizing:

Whether you are transitioning to a new location or simply needing TLC Solutions functional design services, downsizing plays a major role in accomplishing your goals. We offer personal one-on-one assistance to help you with this overwhelming dilemma. In this process, you will discover what belongings are keepsakes and what belongings are not. For those belongings that are no longer needed or wanted we provide the following solutions:

• TLC Solutions is able to connect you with trusted buyers who are willing to offer a fair price on interesting items of value.


• TLC Solutions facilitates the donation of downsized items that can benefit the community at large. With your generous donation a receipt is secured for your tax purposes.


• TLC Solutions assists with making arrangements for those items that are designated for family and or friends.


• TLC Solutions is able to coordinate and/or assist with required garbage/recycle removal services.

Packing:

We offer our packing services for those belongings that TLC Solutions has handled during the downsizing process. We also coordinate with the movers for extended packing services including packing items that require specialized handling. On the scheduled day of the move, TLC Solutions is in-house to pack last minute items. We oversee every aspect of a local move to ensure an efficient and stress-free transition.

Unpacking and Functional Design Services:

While the movers are unloading your furnishings and packed boxes, TLC Solutions is unpacking your possessions and overseeing the placement of your furnishings. Beds are made and pictures are hung. Simple electronics and small appliances are plugged in and set. Kitchens, bathrooms and other living spaces are decorated, organized and made ready for use. Boxes and packing materials are removed.
